“AN EVERLASTING COVENANT FOR JEWS & GENTILES!”

“AN EVERLASTING COVENANT FOR JEWS & GENTILES!” Genesis 17:7 says, “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.” When Abram was 99 years old, an everlasting covenant was established between God and Abram. This everlasting covenant seems to be exclusively for the Jews, even though scripture records that this covenant reaches to all the descendants after Abram. [To read this devotion, click on link]

“WHEN WE ALL PULL TOGETHER!”

“WHEN WE ALL PULL TOGETHER!” Ephesians 4:16 NLT “Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Do you remember that little song we sang as Children, which said, “When We All Pull Together, how happy we’ll be”? “THIS GOSPEL SHALL BE PREACHED!”

“THIS GOSPEL SHALL BE PREACHED!” Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” There are a lot of so called gospels being preached today, but I always like to look and see what Jesus has to say on any subject. “BIBLE-BASICS FOR LIVING THE LIFE OF FAITH!”

“BIBLE-BASICS FOR LIVING THE LIFE OF FAITH!” Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,” The truth is; the gospel is not hard to understand, but many seemingly intelligent people have complicated the message by mixing it with “logical” explanations of “how hard it is!” Rest in Jesus or hard work in religion. “THE GLORY OF GOD!”

“THE GLORY OF GOD!” Genesis 3:7 “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” At creation, God clothed man in His Glory. They were naked, yet they were covered. When they sinned, they made natural coverings for themselves because their supernatural covering was removed. [To read this devotion, click link]

“DOES THE LORD REALLY GIVE & TAKE AWAY?”

“DOES THE LORD REALLY GIVE & TAKE AWAY?” Job 1:21 “And {Job} said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.” This scripture has been used on many religious occasions, most often at funeral services. Ever wonder why many have asked, “Why does God do so many bad things to people?” [To read this devotion, click link]
